I’m a contemporary fashion jewellery designer–maker, creating playful, feminine, and distinctive handcrafted pieces. Working with silver, gold, precious gemstones, and printed aluminium, my designs combine quality materials with a bold, modern aesthetic.

My inspiration draws on a love of the vibrant, expressive design of the 1960s, alongside cherished childhood memories of growing up in the picturesque surroundings of Summerseat, Lancashire. This blend of colour, nostalgia, and place continues to shape my creative approach.

After graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2006, I established my own brand, Abby Filer Jewellery. I also co-founded Franny & Filer, a jewellery shop in Chorlton, which I opened in 2009 with fellow jeweller Frances Stunt.
