"Fools gold"
I had had a bottle of "fools gold" for a long time that I was given as a gift, and I thought it was wasted sat on a shelf in a bottle getting dusty. So I had a play with ideas of how to use it, and I really loved how this style turned out, as it keeps the fools gold as the focus showing off how the natural stone sparkles and shines as it hits the light. I now buy large rocks of fools gold or Pyrite which is its real name and have my dad hit it with a very large hammer to give me lots of unique small pieces to use to make the collection. Each piece is made with base of sterling silver and the fools gold is then set into the silver using a clear resin. Each piece is completely unique.
