This collection was born from a collaboration between my dad and me.

Back in 2003–2006, I worked at Manchester Craft and Design Centre, and my dad would often come by to help out when he had free time. One day, feeling a bit bored, he picked up some thin silver wire I hadn’t yet used and started experimenting. Using a little gadget he set up, he twisted the wire together to create a thicker, more durable rope-style wire. Then he asked, “What shall we do with it?”

We experimented together and discovered that flattening the twisted wire in a rolling mill gave it a beautiful form. My love of circles then took over, and we began creating lots of circular shapes from the new twisted silver. By combining these circles, we developed the pieces that make up this unique jewellery collection.
