Abby Filer is a contemporary fashion, jewellery designer and maker, working in silver, enamels, printed aluminium and precious stones to create fresh, feminine and colourful pieces of jewellery.
Designed to be worn without pretence, Abby aims to create jewellery that is unique enough to be eye catching but also suitable to be worn more casually day to day.
The inspiration for Abbys jewellery comes from her life growing up in the countryside of Summerseat, surrounded by an array of brightly coloured flowers, night skies filled with stars and interestingly shaped farm machinery. Combined with her love of the bold and colourful sixties pyschedelic design era.
Abby graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in July 2006, and now runs her business, Abby Filer Jewellery from her studio in Manchester.
